After browsing the internet looking for info on this game I found that it has been met with a negative view from most reviewers. From playing the demo I don't see why this is so. Mainly because I think Gore has the potential to actually be a very good game.

The gameplay constantly stays smooth. Actually the frame rate stays at a constant high rate on my computer, and even though I have a powerfull computer I find that a lot of games have frame rate problems ( such as 007: Nightfire and Warcraft III ). However the Gore demo does not have this problem.

Online play was also provided for the demo and all though it played smooth on my ADSL 512k/ps connection there were only two other people online. This may be different at other times but not at the time that I visited.

The demo is actually pretty long. I was barely able to finish it on the easiest setting and I can't even imagine how hard it would be to finish it on the hardest setting. That said the demo will keep you occupied for quite some time.

One more thing about the demo, the multiplayer version also has a flame thrower that has a very nice flame effect so be sure to check it out.
